Dadabhai Naoroji by Kumkum Khanna
Dadabhai Naoroji – affectionately called ‘The grand old man of India’ was a Parsi intellectual and educator , and Indian political leader . He is viewed as the architect who laid the foundation of the Indian freedom struggle and Swaraj. A leading nationalist author and spokesman, he was the first Indian to be elected Member of British Parliament. During 1845 and 1917 he was a great public figure who was fighting for the rights of the Indian people, both in England and India.
