Bhaskaracharya by Meena Manishika

Bhaskarachar ya was a world-famous astronomer and mathematician. In his memory , India sent its satellite ‘Bhaskara-2’ into space. He was the first Indian scientist, who declared several centuries before Newton that the ear th has a wonderful force, which attract ever ything towards itself. He had also held the position of chairman of the astronomical obser vator y at Ujjain.
