The novel is the story of two friends, Sandeep and Ashutosh. They are very close to each other though opposite in many ways. Like all young boys of today they grow up under different influences. They face many ordeals for that is what life means. Ashutosh is an N.R.I., who has the craze to live in the glittering world of outside his country. A violent jerk shakes him and he wakes up to understand what life and its happiness means.

The fast moving events of the novel capture the mind of the readers. For in these moments and in the characters they can all somehow, somewhere identify themselves. It is a novel for all, young and old, men and women alike. A fierce battle is raging within all of us for more money, for higher positions and for greater comforts and all this at the cost of culture, values and good of the nation. There is an urgent call for a U TURN. We need to change our thoughts to change the world.
